Knocklyon was very well represented in the Dublin League finals held in Baldoyle on 24th March with 8 of the club’s teams participating. The results were as follows:

U11 – R/Up – Manager: Michelle Hannon
U13 Division 2 – Winner – Manager: Fiona Giffney
U13 Division 3 – R/Up – Manager: Paul Phelan
U13 Boys – R/Up – Manager: Patricia Jones
U15 Division 3 – R/Up – Manager: David Raitt
U17 Division 1 – Winner – Manager: Joan Collins
U17 Division 3 – Winner – Manager: Anne Newe
U19 – R/Up – Manager: Eileen Giblin

The U13 Division 2 team progressed to the Leinster final on Sunday 25th March, where they emerged as overall winners of their Division in the competition. Well done to the U13’s.

Congratulations to all the teams and.managers that participated, making it a very enjoyable day for the club

Knocklyon Junior Badminton Club was formed in September 2002.  It started out with 60 members and currently has 80 members, ranging in ages from 9 - 18 years.

Training is on Sunday mornings in Knocklyon Community Centre from 9.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. depending on age and ability.  Each age group has a one hour slot.  Players receive coaching and get the opportunity to play games during this period.

Home League matches are held on Saturday evenings in Knocklyon Community Centre from 5.30 to 8.30 p.m. Owing to the large number on the waiting list, membership is confined to children living in Knocklyon. Application forms are available to download on this site.
